Worsted weight yarn on US size 9 needles

Thanks to Kuntzknit who recommended the sable scowl

Vanilla Socks

Off the Needles
Strib Hat
Holiday Yarn’s Super Sheep - DK on US Size 5- 3.75mm needles

Snow Squall hat using Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine on US 6 - 4.0 mm & US 7 - 4.5 mm

Drizzle hat by Mel Ski
Using mystery worsted weight yarn from stash on US 5 3.75 mm needles

Pattern calls for sport. i’m using worsted because I wanted it to be larger. But didn’t think it would be overly large. The last hat I did was DK on size 5 with a similar number cast on.

Brainstorming/ Mindful Knitting

I've been using this Excel file to keep track of my knits:

I've enjoyed seeing how things overlap; not sure if I’ll keep it going all year but its been fun for me to look at.

I’ve also started a new running document that I store in my Google Drive to help keep better organized. I list out each month, major events in that month (travel, birthday etc) and plans for knitting.

Next up:

From the Armchair

Crafty Adventures
I worked on this yarn art project with some girls from my Knitting Group! How fun, right!?

Here are some canvases for my studio collage wall. Still very much in progress.

On a Happy Note
Always get the urge to be healthy in the new year. So cliche I know, but when the motivation strikes I go with it.

  • I've been doing protein shakes for breakfast using our new blender - the Hamilton Beach Smoothie Start
  • Favorite recipe now:
    • Vanilla protein powder
    • chia seeds and flaxseeds
    • spinach
    • 4-5 sliced peaches (frozen)
    • small handful of raspberries (frozen)
    • peach flavored siggy yogurt
    • water & ice

I've been using my wide mouth mason jar with the Cuppow top. A girl from my yoga class recommended that I could put an elastic around the jar and then put a knit cozy on it! Brilliant.
